Cavity wall insulation is a great way to keep your home warm and reduce your energy bills. It works by filling the empty space, or “cavity,” between the outer and inner walls of your house with insulation material.

When a roof space is converted into a room, it requires a different type of insulation that will fit into gaps between joists and behind walls of the room. This type of insulation helps to improve the energy efficiency of a building by reducing heat loss through the roof.

At Eco Grants Team we supply a wide range of energy efficient boilers suited to your specific property, whether you need a new Gas Combi boiler, or an LPG Boiler. All of our installers are Gas Safe qualified, so you’re in safe hands.

Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) and smart heating controls are integral components of modern heating systems designed to enhance energy efficiency and provide personalized comfort. TRVs are devices installed on individual radiators that allow users to control the temperature in specific rooms.

Installing an air source heat pump is a great way of producing your own heat, reduce your carbon emissions and save money on your heating bills. It doesn’t need to be warm outside to work as they will generate heat even when outside air temperatures are as low as -20°C.

Flat roof insulation is a crucial component in enhancing energy efficiency and maintaining comfortable indoor environments in buildings with flat roofs. Unlike sloped roofs, flat roofs pose unique challenges as they are more prone to water pooling and heat absorption.

Background of Government energy saving schemes.

The UK Government has set a target to bring greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
Any greenhouse gas production is to be balanced by schemes to offset emissions like planting trees and incentivising use of greener technology. Therefore, the government is encouraging and rewarding the installation of more effective energy measures.

For you as a homeowner or private tenant, there many benefits, none more prevalent than reduced energy bills. Explore our services and see how we can help you.

Find out if you’re eligible for grants.

You do not need to be claiming benefits to be eligible for ECO3 grants!
Local authorities (LA) have flexible eligibility, meaning they can adjust criteria to adapt energy efficiency schemes for different areas.

There are two categories for La flex;

Properties have to be eligible too. Depending on the grant scheme you wish to apply for, we will send out a registered surveyor to ensure your property qualifies. Considerations may include Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), existing insulation or current heating solutions.
